My internet modem died went to the store to replace it, got a new one, set it up at home and it doesn't wanne connect to the internet 4 some reason. my internet company is looking into to issue atm, don't know when i will have internet again.

I'm sorry to hear that mate, is it not a case of just configuring the VPI and VCI according to your isp, configuring PPPoA or PPPoE settings and maybe a username and pass combo to whack into it?
